Listen: The Gesture Music Player App Reviews

The simple gestures allows me to use all the basic functions without looking at my iPhone. Very useful since my old school head unit only has an headphone AUX in. I suggest to have a little dead spot for the play/pause tap, as my tap always registered as a slight swipe instead.

Couldnt ask for a better app to let you play music, in an easy, and aesthetically pleasing fashion. Simply cant beat the ease of one handed use!

I usually just download apps without reading too much about the description. I thought it’s like another Songza app playing internet music. Downloaded it, launched it and fell in love with this app. Controlling songs in my Music collection never been so easy and fun. And I usually don’t feel the urge to write a review.

Needs a simple way to redo the tutorial as id forgotten the gestures after loading and playing with it. Hint: swipe down then swipe right and right again to get yo settings. Excellent interface. Love it.

If you use a phone mount while driving, this app is perfect. You can use it horizontally as well unlike most music apps and best of all, the screen stays on! No need to manually change settings constantly. Fantastic app.

Well its better than your own music app but I wish it would let you login to facebook and use some other music stream apps like spotify or deezer or something like that. Because I hate downloading music on my phone because it takes too much space. And yeah.

I downloaded it because I was tired of having my album splited by artists since I have a lot of compilation. Listen didnt solve that but I discover a very clean and simple interface that I like. However, the fact that there is no update since many months makes me wonder if there is some future development for that awesome app. The 2 features I would like to see so I can stop totally using iTunes Player would be - album by album (not by album/artist) - lyrics

I think this is a great app. The gestures are smooth, the circular theme is nice, and its really simple to use. Only issues are that it overheats my phone and drains the battery. If this could be resolved, it would be a 4-star app. Also, I suggest having a page that shows your entire music library (just songs is fine), and you would have the ability to choose the song you start with when shuffling the library. If that was added, this app would definitely be worth a 5-star rating.

I think this is the only app Ive ever rated. Perfect for in the car very easy to control, Im loving it.

Just after a few minutes of use its clear I need to make the switch over to this app from the native music app. My biggest issue is the bubbles being albums, and not the artists themselves. I wont say it should be artists by default, but the option should be there. Thats actually a pretty big one. Although I really respect the design and functionality of this app, I feel your casual users are going to skip the beginning tutorial, and have have difficulty finding the settings. Truthfully I skipped through it, because I felt if I were to continue to use the app it would have to come naturally without research or reading. I was debating between this app and another because I thought I couldnt control volume or where in the song Id like to be. The two finger guide page was very handy, and because of that Ill easily stick with this app. I see use for my nature app, just to set playlists, but besides that I intend to just use this app. Beautiful app. Great work.

Love this app, works great, love how it opens quickly and love the gesture controls. (Please consider adding last.fm scrobbling, thats the only thing keeping me from using this as my default player)

The title says it all, but this is great. Very easy interface. Some may say it is simple, but I would say it just simply does a great job.

remove the bloatware music for this you wont regret it. Nice and clean
