Pros and cons of Listen: The Gesture Music Player app for iPhone and iPad

Listen: The Gesture Music Player app good for

Excellent smooth design, much better than the Apple Music app.
I dont know why Apples Music App does not have a landscape mode, but this app saves the day. Plus, this is very easy to use when driving without having to look at the screen - definitely increasing the safety factor. Its reliable, easy to use, and looks good. A great combination.
One of the most beautiful apps in AppStore and the most beautiful for music. Like it a lot.The only thing, its eating your battery life really fast.
the app works beautifully and is extremely aesthetically pleasing for a minimalist, a tad bit temperamental when i try to play individual songs on playlists but otherwise amazing
I wish that Apples app was like this, but I will use this one happily now. I recommend trying it!
I use my iPad in landscape mode in my truck and needed an app that looks good when horizontal. Apples app is a mess in iOS10 (iOS9 was OK), but this app is even better. And with the easy controls with a clean interface is what I needed. Thanks!

Some bad moments

This is a very attractive application, but the song selection just doesnt work properly when shuffle is on. Ill pick one song in a playlist, and a completely different one will play. Also, there is sometimes a glitch where shuffle cant be toggled without going back to Apples music app and changing it there. I love the menus and gesture controls, but I have some suggestions that I think would only improve the app once the devs figure out the song selection bug. 1. The most important thing is customization. I would like my app to always open up to the Playlists tab. I never play music from Albums or Artists, and I dont know a single person who uses a radio other than spotify, so being able to get rid of those menu options entirely would declutter the app for me. If someone actually uses only Albums or Artists though, then they should be able to get rid of the Playlists tab. 2. When you are viewing the player itself while a song is playing, it would be nice to always see the volume level and the option to toggle repeat and shuffle. Their positioning is already at the top of the screen which is nice, because it means that anywhere under it can be tapped to pause/play. We dont need the entire screen to be pause/play. 3. I control my "loved" songs through iTunes already, so having the option to get rid of the Love playlist would be nice. Also, I wish I could sort playlists by name OR manually. 4. When the app is forced closed, the music should stop playing. I want to shove my Music app into a corner where Ill never have to touch it again, but when force close doesnt turn off music, I have to reopen either Listen or the Music app and do it manually. I really want this to be my daily Music app, but there are just too many glitches and inconveniences for it to beat out Apples music app.
Tapping on a song doesnt work properly. It will launch a different one from another album. Used it a few times and then the sound stopped working. Apple Music works and seems to jumpstart this app.
Saw the encouraging reviews and gave it a shot. Launched and... nothing.
I couldnt get out of shuffle play or find options to configure it. Its like being trapped in an alternate dimension. I couldnt play any song i wanted even by simply clicking on it. I looked for the options and gave up eventually because it souldnt be hard to find. Worst music app ive seen and that includes the horribly designed apple music app.
This was a nice app when it worked. Cant get it to work on my iPad Pro. Also, it would be nice if it let you search by genre. Happy to give it five stars once they fix the bug.
Will not work. Crashes. Too bad. It used to be simple and useful.
